Volunteers at Southwestern Medical Center make a huge difference in the daily operations of the hospital. Whether it’s escorting patients and visitors to their destinations or assisting in the management of our volunteer-run gift shop, their efforts are much appreciated.
Our volunteer program is always accepting new members, and we will work around your availability. We are also willing to create special volunteer positions based on an individual’s skill set.

CHAPLAIN AUXILIARY
Our chaplain volunteers provide spiritual care for patients, visitors, and team members at SWMC, regardless of their personal beliefs or faith background. Chaplain volunteers help with many different needs, including:
- Support to those who are fearful, depressed, or worried
- Non-judgmental listing & crisis intervention
- Connection to clergy within the community
- Prayer
